Studio access

We’re thrilled to have you in the studio !!

We offer 2-hour blocks, in which you can throw, hand-build, trim, add handles or glaze.

If you’ve joined us for a six-week pottery course (within the last 6 months), or have at least 6-months of experience on the wheel, you’re welcome to use our studio.

AVAILABLE DAYS: Tuesday, Thursday - Friday

TIME: 12:15 - 2:15 pm or 2:15 - 4:15 pm

COST: $30 for two-hours

WHAT DOES THAT INCLUDE: Use our wheels, tools, 3kg of reclaim, glazes, and aprons. Please keep in mind this is not a class, so our team is not available for demos or in-depth questions. If you’d prefer more hands on help, you can book into a class here

CAN I BUY CLAY: Yes, we have reclaim and white pottery (stoneware) available

CAN I BRING MY OWN CLAY: Yes, as long as it is a stoneware clay body & isn’t BRT

WE WILL HAVE 9 POTTERY WHEELS AVAILABLE TO USE, AS WELL AS A BENCH for hand-building (studio access will only be available in our downstairs studio)

STUDIO access T&C

To use the studio we ask that you have a minimum of six months of ceramic experience, or be accompanied by someone who has, or if you have completed at least one pottery course with us or another studio :-)

Clay will be available to purchase onsite:

White Pottery: $8 - 1/4 bag (2.5kg), $12 - 1/2 bag (5kg), $22 bag (10kg)

Reclaim stoneware: $3.5 per/kg (when available)

or you may bring your own:

• please note we only accept stoneware clays - no BRT

we ask that you start packing up 15 to 20 minutes before the end of your session

We have a firing service available, click here to book

Bisque firing: $10 per/kg

glazing service: $5 per/kg

stoneware glaze fire: $12.5 per/kg

We will have a few stoneware glazes for sale in the coming weeks/ month. although during studio access you will have access to four of our studio glazes.
